Vasiliki Angelopoulou is a retired Greek swimmer, who specialized in butterfly and individual medley events.[1] Angelopoulou broke both a national and a European junior record of 2:10.64 to claim a gold medal in the 200 m butterfly at the 2003 European Junior Swimming Championships in Glasgow, Scotland.[2] Angelopoulou also held the distinction of being the first female Greek swimmer to reach an Olympic final.[3]
